“Shopping like Locals with Locals”

Also known as Ameyoko market. It is a combination of a couple of blocks with one end at a far end of Ueno park and the other right near a station.

Even though this place is close to Ueno park, a favorite place of both locals and tourists, it is still very local. The shopping areas are streets full of little shops. Tokyo has many different shopping areas, but each of them are unique in their own ways. OF course the clothing and food sold are different depending on the place, but some shopping areas have secret shops of places to find. Here, for example, has a secret little shrine down one of the streets.
